This year marks an important milestone for our annual giving campaign, underscoring our commitment to strengthening communities and supporting those who need it most.

Hundreds of Canadian employees recently came together to drive initiatives that create lasting, positive change. Our Annual Giving Campaign focuses on those areas, within our four focus areas, where we can make the greatest impact —Empowering Communities and Emergency and Disaster Relief. For 15 years, this commitment has delivered meaningful results through trusted partnerships with United Way, the Canadian Red Cross, and HealthPartners.

Charitable organizations play a vital role in Canada—millions of Canadians1 benefit from essential services they provide, such as housing, health care, and education. In fact, more than two-fifths of non-profit organizations primarily serve the general public.

United Way Centraide Canada: building stronger communities

ABB partners with United Way Centraide for its proven ability to address root causes and deliver support in over 5,000 communities. By mobilizing local agencies, volunteers, and service providers, this network ensures access to housing, nutritious food, education, and mental health resources—right where people live.

Canadian Red Cross: rapid response when crisis strikes

Emergencies —fires, floods, and extreme weather are becoming more frequent and severe, with recovery taking months or years.

Vulnerable individuals face the greatest risks. ABB partners with the Canadian Red Cross to deliver trusted, timely support before, during, and after emergencies, enabling rapid deployment of relief items, emergency funds, and trained personnel nationwide.

HealthPartner: advancing health and care

Chronic disease touches nearly every Canadian family. From cancer to mobility challenges and mental health, timely access to care is critical for long-term wellbeing. Through HealthPartners, ABB employees help fund leading Canadian health charities— supporting programs that deliver care, drive research, and strengthen community health.

Our 2025 Impact at a Glance
