Niessen, a flagship ABB brand in Spain, has won the Red Dot Award 2026 in the Product Design category – one of the most influential international recognitions in design. The award was formally presented at the Red Dot Gala last night, adding to a remarkable year for the Vega collection.
The Red Dot Award is a global benchmark that recognizes products each year for their quality, functionality, and innovation. This year's jury recognized Vega and Alter Vega for their ability to integrate contemporary design and efficiency into a solution designed to meet the current demands of architecture and interior design.
The collection offers two distinct styles: Vega, with its clean, straight lines, and Alter Vega, with its curved, ergonomic button. Both options integrate into any environment – adding value to residential and commercial projects – and provide architects, interior designers, and specifiers with a solution in which aesthetics and technology coexist naturally.

In addition, Vega has been selected as a finalist for the Delta Awards, one of the leading industrial design awards in Spain, reinforcing its relevance both globally and nationally.
With these achievements, Vega positions itself as one of the most prominent collections of the moment, reflecting the sector's evolution towards solutions where design responds not only to aesthetic criteria but also to efficiency and user experience.
