ABB has topped the list of employers favored by Swiss engineering students in employer branding specialist Universum’s survey every year since 2017. In the current 2019 survey, ABB was able to defend its first-place ranking in this category and remain ahead of Google and other competitors. Moreover, ABB made headway in the rankings for IT students and has now placed 16th out of 100 in this category.

“Switzerland’s Most Attractive Employers – Student Ranking 2019” is the largest employer branding survey conducted for students in Switzerland. Universum surveyed around 12,500 students from 75 Swiss universities and colleges, including the Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology in Zürich (ETH) and Lausanne (EPF).
ABB is actively involved in university recruiting and attracting and retaining young talent. To foster this exchange the company organizes events and activities for students at its company’s sites and at different universities and is active in social networks. In R&D ABB has built a global network with more than 100 universities.
