In the category S (building) the transformation of 'the LocHal' located in Tilburg, the Netherlands won the prize. The local Library, Seats2meet, Kunstloc Brabant and Brabant C have joined forces in the LocHal. Together with visitors, they make the LocHal a bustling place where knowledge, culture and business come together.
The hall has an industrial design with lots of glass and metal and is 18 meters high. In cooperation with installer Binx Smartility - and WSI - in Groenlo, Hiled emergency lighting from VanLien was chosen. Thanks to the 360-degree rotating lamp and flexible mounting options from Hiled, visitors can safely leave the LocHal in emergency situations. For the lower ceilings, the emergency lighting fixtures from Evago have been used, in terms of design that fits very well with the architecture of LocHal. For maintenance, viaFlex CPS from VanLien was chosen, a powerful solution for central emergency lighting installations.
