PES will bring full range solutions in Power Quality to customers with state-of-the-art Power Converter Systems (PCS) including Active Voltage Conditioner (AVC), Industrial Uninterrupted Supply (UPSi), Static Frequency Converter (SFC), Energy Storage System (ESS) and Static VAr Compensator (STATCOM). Research and Development (R&D) is an essential part of our business with three R&D centers in Switzerland for PCS6000 products as well as a center in New Zealand dedicated to PCS100 products, which is also the headquarter of PES. On the other hand, targeting the fast growing market of Asian countries, a main hub for spare parts and services has been established in Singapore to shorten the lead time for main accounts in this huge potential market.
On this occasion, PES Vietnam team had the honor to welcome Mr. John Penny, PES Global General Manager, Mr. Andrew Hiscock, Global Product Manager and Mr. Kevin Dang, Regional Sales Manager on their working visit to Vietnam. During the visit, the PES management team emphasized on the potential opportunities and the business plan with full support from PES Headquarter to assist PES Vietnam to exploit as well as expand this demanding market in the following years. In addition, PES team also organized a workshop on PCS100 products for ABB Vietnam employees with the wish to promote collaboration between PES and other business units.
