One week before the exhibition, ABB joined a press conference with All World organizers to introduce ABB company as well as ABB showcases in the upcoming exhibition.
Representatives from drives business units from APAN Mr Pekka Pukki - Drives Regional Sales Director, Mr Lawrence Tao - LV Drives Regional Sales Manager also participated in the show. Motor management team from regions including Baldor's Asia-Pacific Managing Director - Mr PengYong Tan and Catherine Thai - Region Marketing and Sales Director, BU Motors and Generators were also there to support ABB event.
On this occasion, ABB displayed the entire low voltage drives product portfolio, programmable logic controllers and motors. Besides, a new member of ABB - Baldor motor - a North American brand in industrial motors which had been acquired by ABB recently were introduced to visitors.
After the opening ceremony, ABB had honor to welcome a VIP group lead by Mr Nguyen Thanh Bien - Vice Minister, Ministry of Industry and Trade to visit ABB booth. The Vice Minister was very interested in ABB products as well as ABB solutions.
"The All Compatible Industrial Drives- ACS880 Product Launch Seminar" section took place in the afternoon with more than 100 participants. The seminar was aimed at introducing new ABB industrial drive ACS 880 which are compatible with human, process, business and environment. All World Organizer said that it's the first time they saw such a successful seminar within the exhibition hall like ours. Making a comment on the event, Mr A R Madhusudan said: "Elenex is a good platform for launching new products since customers also visit the booth to get understanding about our full portfolio as well as solutions".
On the following day, our Country Manager - Mr Jian Peng Fu also joined the exhibition together with us and he was really appreciative of ABB efforts to make this exhibition successful.
The three day exhibition ended but the whole DM team is still in very good spirit for achievement and also for the chance to meet and discuss with current and potential customers. According to Elenex organizer, there were 248 exhibitors and 4,405 buyers attending the event. ABB generated closer to 400 good contacts and many discussions with customers. Highly impressive Mr Lawerence Tao said: "It's the first time I have participated in an exhibition only for drives that is as great as Elenex Vietnam. We are looking forward to joining upcoming events in Vietnam".
