This program is beneficial to ABB as it advertises ABB branding amongst young engineers who might be our prospective customers or workforce. Besides, the program also allows the student to have hands-on experience and be familiar themselves with ABB products.
In order to make sure that ABB demo equipment sponsored in 2010 by PA are in good condition, used by the students and to get the feedback from university management about the effectiveness of ABB's sponsorship program, in the morning of 18 Nov 2014, the legal and integrity department, LP and PA jointly visited HUST, one of the universities that ABB selected to sponsor more demo equipment this year
.
The inspection visit took place smoothly with the support of the HUST representative. ABB sponsored demo equipment are put in the Training Center of the University and in good condition. However, some alphabets in the ABB logo are missing. The poster and the wall of the room is getting old. Related divisions (LP and DM) and the university will discuss solution to enhance the image of the Training Center and utilize the use of the demonstration products.
