Right after landing in Vietnam, he had an interesting tour to Bac Ninh factory which equipped with the latest technologies including robot applications in the manufacturing process and has just come to its operations for nearly one year. He then moved to Hanoi office and visited PPTR factory in the afternoon. At the same day he also had a meeting with Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bich Van, Deputy Director of Foreign Investment Agency under the Ministry of Planning & Investment and the VICEM management (Vietnam Cement Corporation) to discuss about prospects for development and chances for long-term investment in Vietnam.
Participation in his trip to some ABB locations in Vietnam included Mr Boonkiat Sim - Regional Manager for South Asia, Mr Oliver Bergmann - Bac Ninh factory Manager, Mr JanPeder Dareus - PPTR factory Manager and some other BUs leaders.
