At the Smart Industry World 2017 on December 4 and 5, 2017, ABB has showcased a number of its latest technologies that cater to the overall theme of the event, "Discovering the smart industries - Defining the future economy". ABB AbilityTM , our unified, cross-industry digital capability, is how we harness the power of digital to drive progress with our customers to unlock value in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Being held in Vietnam for the first time, the Smart Industry World 2017 has been hosted by the Central Economic Committee, and co-organized by IDG ASEAN with participation of the ministries' leaders and government agencies.

These unique, new solutions provide opportunities for businesses to transform efficiency, uptime and flexibility through remote monitoring, online big data analysis and predictive technology.

For the keynote address, together with government leaders and the Ministry of Science and Technology, ABB will deliver a paper titled "Transforming the economy through digital technologies" and a presentation on "Smart technology for clean water distribution systems in Vietnam" during the conference session titled, "Building Smart Cities: Vision & Strategy". Through its presentations, ABB will share best practices of applications of its digital technologies for the industries across the world and in Vietnam in particular.
