Hanoi, 18th April 2014: ABB Ltd., a member of ABB Group, the leading power and automation technology group, hold a training on CGA gas analyzer system for engineers from members of Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation (VICEM) after a series of site surveys taken at cement plants of this corporation together with Engineer also the Trainer from ABB Singapore, Measurement Products Group, Mr Lim Wee Keong and ABB Vietnam, Process Automation Division, Mr Duong Hoang Le for customer places.
These are a joint effort event both from ABB valuable customer VICEM together with ABB Group to improve and upgrade proposal on customer aging system based on site visit and also continual support from ABB to customer site engineer on the hand on training in their head-quarter.
The half-day training focused on delivering technical knowledge on operation and maintenance for ABB CGA analyzer system that currently being used by customers and also a review on the system that need to be replaced due to aging issue on site. Attending the event were 20 engineers of VICEM members over a few of their Cement plant site that ABB had conduct the site visit together with VICEM corporation over the day. The half-day training allowed customer site engineers to have a chance to better understand and improve their experience in operating and maintenance their ABB gas analyzer systems through technical knowledge and practice on ABB demo system in the training.
After the training, all the participants satisfied as what they gained would help them improve their gas analyzer system that it is key to optimize kiln control and clinker quality. Also valuable feedback during the training discussion between customer and ABB trainer on the improvement that the systems need the highlight of their issue that need to be address in the improvement for their site were collected.
