LV Drives Channel Partner Meeting

November 24, 2011, BU LV Drives held annually year end channel partner meeting at Shri Restaurant Lounge, Centec Tower, Ho Chi Minh City in warm and open atmosphere with close channel partners, ABB drives global, regional and local managements and LV Drives staff.

To open the meeting, Mr. Eric Chan, DM Division Manager delivered a thanks message and appreciation certificates to our partners.

In the meeting, Mr. Leif Almark, LV Drives Global Sales Director delivered overview on ABB LV Drives operation globally; he especially impressed partners by presenting data from researchers showing the number one position of ABB in drive market worldwide.

He was then followed by Mr. Pekka Pulkki, LV Drives Regional Sales Director who then introduced a newly Authorized Value Provider programs to partners. The program will replace the old one, Drive Alliance Programs, and will be applied for all products groups from ABB, not only drives. To implement this program, ABB would like to continue support partners with new and approved tools such as new awareness campaign, improved processes as well as improved cooperation.

Mr. A R Madhusudan, LV Drives Business Manager in Vietnam shared channel partner business plans in which he introduced focused markets that LV drives will pay attention to as well as target for each market manager. To achieve the market management target successfully, we surely need strong cooperation with partners and need to frequently exchange information to meet the market needs.

During the meeting, partners also shared their success stories such as how An Thai Company could develop very fast in drives business or how MES Company entered into mining sectors. After that, 3 most successful partners were awarded trophies for their excellent performance, they are Song Nguyen Company with "The Biggest Channel Partner in 2011" award; An Thai Company with "The Fastest Growth Channel Partner in 2011" and Le Gia Company with "The Biggest Micro Drive Channel Partner in 2011".

The evening program was carried out in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, providing an excellent opportunity to meet and thank each other for a hardworking year. All in all, the meeting was a success both from the partners' and from ABB's point of view.
