Compared with similar solutions, ABB Ability™ EDCS with an integrated plug & play architecture requires 60 percent fewer hardware components, and delivers high scalability and state-of-the-art services, avoiding the time and cost needed to install, commission and upgrade an energy management system composed of multiple components.

ABB Ability™ EDCS features Web App interfaces that allow the user to do the following anytime and anywhere through a smartphone, tablet or PC:

  • Monitoring: inspecting equipment performance, monitoring usage of the electrical system and devices on individual tributaries and breaking down the cost.
  • Optimization: automatically generating analysis reports on regular basis, optimizing asset usage and enabling right operational decisions.
