ABB wins 2016 Randstad Award in China

According to the results of the world's largest employer branding survey & Randstad's "Most Attractive Employers in China" Award released on April 22, ABB stood out among many participating enterprises as the most attractive employer in China's industrial manufacturing field and ranked the third on the list of Randstad's "Top 20 Most Attractive Chinese and Foreign Employers in 2016". That highlights its high level brand recognition and attractiveness to talent.

Founded in 1999, the Randstad Award survey is the world's largest independent employer branding research event. The study targets at students, employees and job-seekers between the ages of 18 and 65 and covers 23 countries and regions. In 2016, the Randstad Award was held in China for the fourth time. More than 7,000 respondents nationwide evaluated 150 Chinese and foreign companies (1:1) with the largest number of employees in China.

In Randstad Award survey, employer brand attractiveness is defined as the "percentage of people willing to work for a company". The survey shows that up to 82% of the respondents said they are willing to work for ABB under the premise of learning about ABB. This figure ranks ABB third among the 150 participating enterprises. ABB also tops the list of 43 industrial manufacturing enterprises and becomes the most attractive employer in the industry, ranking the first in four separate items, including "financial situation", "career prospects", "work-life balance" and "environmentally & socially aware (CSR)".
