Robert Itschner appointed Country Managing Director Switzerland

Robert Itschner, market- and customer-oriented team player with a proven track record in driving profitable growth, has been appointed Country Managing Director, Switzerland, effective July 1, 2018. He succeeds Remo Luetolf, who will retire from ABB, as previously announced.

Robert Itschner’s current role is Head of Marketing & Sales for the Robotics & Motion division. He joined ABB in 1993 and has held a number of roles in research & development, supply chain, local business unit and division management in Germany and Switzerland, as well as Business Unit Managing Director Power Conversion.

Rober Itschner is a Swiss citizen and holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from HSR University in Rapperswil, Switzerland, as well as a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Northwestern University in Illinois, United States.
