Shenzhen, October 30, 2015 -- ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, today launched the Welcome IP HD series door entry system featuring highest-grade protection design at the 2015 China International Exhibition on Public Safety and Security. The system can be seamlessly connected with ABB's smart home control systems to create a stylish, secure and comfortable smart life for consumers.
Developed by ABB's local R&D team within one year, the Welcome IP HD series door entry system features a series of cutting-edge technologies such as advanced Image Signal Processing (ISP), smart device control and intelligent biometrics. The system is available in three configurations: indoor station, outdoor station for villas and outdoor station for MUDs/MTUs (Multi-Dweller Units/Multi-Tenant Units).
As ABB's first 1080P (the highest grade) HD door entry system, the Welcome IP HD series door entry system is equipped with a super wide-angle 130° camera with over ten million pixels and the F1.8 large aperture and intelligent exposure technology which make videos extremely exquisite. The highest-grade protection design can achieve all-sided dust and rain protection. The ultrathin flat indoor station is engineered with an unprecedented esthetic look that is enabled with a tempered glass panel, an ultra-light alloy material that gives consideration to hardness, wear resistance and high-quality feeling and a coloring process involving 12 working procedures and anodic oxidation.
The Welcome IP HD series can be seamlessly connected with ABB's smart home control systems and integrated with security alarm and video surveillance platforms to achieve all-round action-with-alarm to create a secure, comfortable home environment. The system features newly designed 3D operation interface, flat icons and caller PIP and extended control via mobile apps, making the user operations more flexible and effortless.
