ABB Saudi Arabia Country HR Manager Zeid Al-Rumaihi received the honor from His Royal Highness Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, at an award function held recently by the General Organization for Technical & Vocational Training (GOTEVOT).
The General Organization for Technical & Vocational Training recently held its 18th forum of technical training as well as the graduation ceremony of the trainees of the Council of Technical Training in Riyadh recently. The 18th technical forum aims to acquaint the public and private sectors with outputs of technical and vocational training institutions and the level of training and finding employment opportunities appropriate to their qualifications.
ABB Saudi Arabia was honored at the function for its commitment to Saudization and its outstanding efforts in training Saudi technical students. The function was attended by the Minister of Labor, Governor of Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and a large number of senior officials and businessmen. The function was also attended by ABB Saudi Arabia Country Training Manager Awad Al-Enazy and Sultan Alhomeidani, local training & recruitment coordinator.
"This award is testament to ABB's commitment to Saudization and the effort we have put it to reach and then exceed our required Saudization numbers. We are very keen on hiring qualified Saudi nationals in ABB and extending our support to them with different programs such as our Scholarship Abroad Program, that can further help them develop their careers," said Zeid Al-Rumaihi.
