One of the program is a customer day "ABB MicroScada Pro Release Tour 2.0", which focused on the offering of smart MicroScada Pro software, as part of MicroSCADA Pro SYS600 that handles large quantities of real time information generated by smart devices in the field of substation automation, distributions management system, industries and railways.
The customer day focused on Indonesia market and attended by different units of PLN, industries, and EPCs with over 50 attendees following the event. It covered topic of MicroScada, DMS 600, and cyber security.

The event was opened by Dodon Mutiara Ramlie, Director of ABB in Indonesia, whom highlighted the profile of ABB Group and ABB in Indonesia. He also elaborated ABB's offerings particularly for utilities, industries and transportation. The same message was further reinforced by Michel Burtin, ABB's APAC Regional Manager for Grid Automation and Predarg Grupkovic, ABB's manager for Grid Automation business in Indonesia. They emphasized ABB's local presence and continuous commitment to serve and assist its customers with the ABB's local experts in Indonesia. The session followed by presentations from Anton Bangun, Sales Manager of Grid Automation in Indonesia, Eko Setiawan, Sales Engineer of Grid Automation in Indonesia, Mikael Molander, Product Manager for Grid Automation and Joakim Hjort, Sales Manager of Grid Automation Products.

The day turned out to be very interactive with questions flying in the air during the presentations. The technology demos of MicroScada including DMS 600 and product demos (Relay REL670, RED670, REC650, RTU, and Tropos) were well received and gathered numerous interest during the breaks. Furthermore, subjects of digital substation, future smart nod in digitalized and decentralized grid was also presented to the customers and attracted lot of attentions and questions. Closing the event, Richard Ledgard, Managing Director ABB in Indonesia addressed ABB's commitment in supporting Indonesia in its goal to become fully industrial country in 2020.
Internal programs
Prior to the customer day, ABB also conducted a two-day seminar for internal team, participated by twenty sales specialist of automation from ABB in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Taiwan. The seminar aimed to up-skilling the internal team by building their deeper understanding on MicroScada, which covered MicroScada Pro Historian and Distribution Automation Systems (DMS 600). The seminar was presented by Joakim Hjort, Sales Manager of Grid Automation Products, Mikael Molander, Product Manager of Grid Automation. In addition to this, the seminar also included an update about Microgrid, presented by Manfred Fahr, Regional Sales Manager for Microgrids and Distributed Generation.

Closing the event, ABB's APAC Regional Manager for Grid Automation accentuated the importance of Microgrid in ABB 1000-day program as part of the Next Level strategy, and that it was strongly relevant to markets in South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
All programs in MicroScada Pro Release Tour 2.were successfully conducted and provided an excellent opportunity for networking between ABB and customers, as well as empowering the ABB team to serve customers even better. It shall also open a path to future business opportunities for ABB and also for customers.
