ABB will demonstrate its latest technologies at a high-level forum and exhibition as part of the Vietnam Industry 4.0 Summit 2018.
Embracing the overall theme of the event ‘The Vision and Development Strategy in the Fourth Industrial Revolution’, ABB’s showcase will highlight the power of connectivity and innovations to support acceleration of digitalization in Vietnam.
Being held in Vietnam for the second time, earlier titled ‘Smart Industry World 2017 Conference and Expo’, the Vietnam Industry 4.0 Summit 2018 will be hosted by the Government, Vietnam Central Party Economic Commissions and many ministries, State Bank of Vietnam, Hanoi People's Committee, and IEC Group. The summit aims to discuss the current status of the deployment and application of Industry 4.0 in Vietnam, propose policies and discuss plans to accelerate the application of the Internet of Things in the country.
ABB has been invited to join other technology leaders in Vietnam for an exclusive meeting with the Prime Minister to share expert comments and recommendations to support the development of Industry 4.0 and participate in executive dialogues with government and ministries. Thought leaders will also speak at workshops about smart cities and smart manufacturing.

YuMi was also developed to bring small parts assembly and other automation applications of manufacturing industry into a new era where there is requirement for human and robots to work in collaboration.
ABB’s AC wallbox charging solution, part of ABB’s full range of charging devices for electric vehicles, will be introduced for the first time in the Vietnam market. The innovation ensures easy fast-charging at service stations or even at home for all common electric and hybrid vehicles such as cars, buses and trucks with minimal cost. Operators can gather vital information on demand patterns and system performance that can be utilized to meet the needs of the next generation of smarter mobility.
