ABB signs a contract with PolyComp to deliver single-phase UPS systems on the Bulgarian market

ABB is to deliver uninterrupted single-phase power supply systems through the IT distributor PolyComp for the first time in Bulgaria

ABB has established a partnership with the leading IT equipment distributor in Bulgaria Polycomp. As a result of this deal ABB will bring a new part of its product portfolio to the local market – single-phase UPS. The new addition to ABB’s business offering will enable its clients to ensure the continuous operation of production manufacturing, critical IT and communication applications. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The UPS systems ABB provides assure that the uninterrupted power supply is maintained, and all operations are secured. The single-phase UPSs cover the range of 1 to 20 kVA and intervene within zero ms after the mains has been lost to restore all systems and appliances back to their normal operation. They also filter out input power disturbances such as surges, line noise or harmonics.

The possible damage, which power outages and interruptions may cause to the electrical equipment can be very harmful and have serious impact on the normal operation of the site. That is why ABB offers a wide range of UPSs that suits all needs, covering applications from computer rooms through to large data centers and insure complete industrial plant protection.

“We are very pleased to go into partnership with the largest IT distributor in Bulgaria”, said Marcel van-der Hoek, Country Managing Director of ABB Bulgaria. “This will strengthen our positioning as the leader in electrification and will help our customers receive best-quality protection for their businesses.”
