Adela Vosvrdova’s appointment in February, as global account manager for Semiconductors, completes ABB’s global sales team.
Adela, who is based in Lenzburg, Switzerland, replaces Virgiliu Botan, who has a new position as global product manager BiMOS.
Adela is responsible for the global ABB and external global accounts with a key objective to analyze customers’ needs and recommend solutions that best meet their requirements. Additionally, with five years in research and development, Adela participates in R&D gate meetings with the aim to inform the sales team about ongoing technology activities.
Adela has held various positions at ABB since 2014, including time with the Semiconductors local pro-duct group in Czech Republic, where her last position was CAPEX Specialist. While in the Czech Republic, Adela obtained a master’s degree in chemistry, specializing in materials for electronics, and spent one year studying in Portugal. Her global education has instilled strong communications skills and a passion for travelling. When Adela is not selling semiconductors, you will find her abroad tasting exotic cuisines or spending quality time with her friends.
