ABB Australia Pty Ltd has recently signed NEPEAN Conveyors Queensland as an ABB Authorized Value Provider for the nationwide servicing of ABB’s Dodge® range of Controlled Start Transmission (CST) and Dodge® gearing.
Based in Mackay, NEPEAN Conveyors Queensland has supported the mining and aggregates industries since 1993. They have built a reputation for the design, in-house manufacture, installation and servicing of overland, underground and surface-belt conveyor systems, and bulk materials handling equipment. NEPEAN Conveyors Queensland and ABB have a two-decades-long partnership, providing bulk materials handling solutions that include both Dodge CST and ABB Variable Speed Drive (VSD) technology. Understanding the starting and control functionality of large powered conveyor systems, including tripper drives, has been paramount to providing customers with a trouble-free solution tailored to each specific installation.
“ABB’s newest Authorized Value Provider brings ABB’s service offering right to the coal face of the Bowen Basin – the largest coal reserve in Australia. Due to its long-standing relationship with ABB, NEPEAN Conveyors Queensland was the obvious choice for the service of ABB’s Dodge CSTs and Dodge gearing. A long-standing relationship between NEPEAN Power and ABB Drives completes the one-stop shop for both technologies,” said Giovanni Pedrinoni, Local Business Unit Manager, Motors and Generators, ABB Australia Pty Ltd.
As an ABB Authorized Value Provider, NEPEAN Conveyors Queensland will be fully supported by ABB’s factory experts. In addition to delivering a broad range of mechanical value-added services, NEPEAN Conveyors Queensland will also carry a comprehensive range of spare parts.
“We are proud to be representing the ABB brand, as its newest Authorized Value Provider. Our deep domain experience within the mining and aggregates industries, combined with our local support will ensure the highest levels of service for our customers,” said Quintin Roberts, General Manager, NEPEAN Conveyors Queensland.
