Thomas Kuckhoff, the global product manager for couplings at ABB’s Dodge Bearings and Power Transmission , has been accepted into Leadership Greenville Class 48. Kuckhoff has extensive nonprofit and community service experience and has worked with community initiatives like Hands on Greenville, Propel Greenville, and Junior Achievement. According to the Greenville Chamber’s website, Leadership Greenville is its flagship leadership program. It is described as a “10-month intensive experience where participants work in teams on a volunteer project designed to make them more informed, committed, and equipped to be a leader for Greenville County.”
Kuckhoff says he is excited and honored about the opportunity to continue to serve the Greenville community. “I want to get a deeper understanding of roadblocks prohibiting growth for the entire city,” Kuckhoff said. “Leadership to me means service.”
Kuckhoff says being part of the class gives the Dodge name a platform to help the community.
“It’s important to me to represent Dodge Bearings and Power Transmission as I get to bring that voice to the community and say we’ve been here, and we’ve been a big part of the growth in Greenville. I am really looking forward to getting those new perspectives to bring back to our organization. Leadership Greenville is an opportunity for all of Dodge to continue to grow. When people talk about Greenville they say, ‘Oh it’s BMW, it’s Fluor, or GE, Michelin, Bon Secours, but now Dodge is in the conversation.'"
Kuckhoff is part of a legacy of Dodge participants: Joe Maloney, Vice President of Sales; Lisa Dwight, Vice President of Marketing and Communications; Galen Burdeshaw, R&D Engineering Manager as well as others.
Congratulations Thomas Kuckhoff!
