In recent days the G20 Conference on Female Empowerment was held in Santa Margherita Ligure on the occasion of which The European House - Ambrosetti presented a document, the result of a research path on the issue of gender equality, delivering it to Elena Bonetti, Minister for Equal Opportunities and Family.
The document is accompanied by a Manifesto: a synthesis of 10 concrete actions in support of a virtuous path that allows to focus the work of politics, businesses, communities, and citizens to make a change on this topic, crucial not only in terms of equity but above all decisive contribution to the sustainable recovery of our economic system.
Among the companies included in the research, also ABB in Italy, which has decided to sign the manifesto as an adhesion to this moment of fruitful and conscious proactive reflection.
"We signed the manifesto promoted by The European House Ambrosetti on women's empowerment because in this document we recognize a strategic direction very similar to ABB's 2030 Sustainability Strategy, which is our daily work tool" says Gianluca Lilli - CEO and President of ABB SpA - A long-term commitment that combines a careful focus on projects and progress with the promotion of a culture deeply inspired by inclusiveness, which can offer more and more value to the uniqueness of people and their potential."
