The achievement is a real indicator of ABB’s efforts to continuously maintain the welfare of its employees, particularly amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The awarding ceremony was streamed online on 7 September 2021, witnessed by thousands of human resources professionals across Asia. The award was given to ABB Indonesia and 45 other leading companies in the country for their success in implementing world class employee engagement and establishing high quality working space.

The in-depth survey was organized to generate a comprehensive insight which cover employees’ morale, needs and expectations, as well as their level of engagement with their employers.
A high level of employees happiness is demonstrated in the respondents’ willingness to provide assistance for their colleagues, at 81.6 percent. This indicates the presence of a healthy workplace culture and teamwork in the companies. As much as 80.6 percent of respondents feel confident that they have given valuable contribution to achieve companies’ goals. This signals that the organizations trust on the strength and capabilities of their employees. Furthermore, 80.6 percent respondents stated that their jobs contribute greatly on companies’ productivity, indicating availability of support and growth opportunities in the companies.
