- Customer: the largest terminals on the U.S. Gulf Coast, and the only bulk terminal in the region that provides direct rail access for ocean going shipments. There are two independent ship-loading systems, with its newest ship-loader capable of accommodating cape-sized ocean vessels.
ABB scope
- Replace existing GE DC2000 DC drive with ABB DCS880 drives.
- Modify the existing PLC Control system to include the new devices.
- Provide design engineering for drives and controls. Provide engineering support for electrical and communications systems.
