Addition to MISTRAL65 range is resistant to dust, salt and Ultra Violet (UV) rays.
ABB has extended its MISTRAL65 series of consumer units and switchboards with the addition of the super-tough MISTRAL65H.
Rigorously tested to provide resistance to salt, dust and UV rays and constructed with a high raw material grading (GWT 750°C and IK10), MISTRAL 65H has been specifically designed for heavy duty outdoor applications such as swimming pools, garden centers, PV installations and locations by the sea.
MISTRAL65H is ABB’s most innovative series of IP65 rated consumer units. It reduces cabling times and allows total integration between modular DIN-rail MCBs, MCCBs and front panel devices.
Thanks to elegant and modern styling it can be installed in commercial and residential environments where high level of IP protection is required.
Davide Ruzzon, ABB’s Global Product Manager for Consumer Units, said: “With the MISTRAL65H, we have used our years of technical experience to create a range of consumer units and switchboards to provide high performing distribution solutions in harsh environments.
“The new range has been rigorously tested to operate in some of the most inhospitable conditions so that our customers can rest assured that when the going gets tough, this unit will not let them down.”
The MISTRAL65H has passed a rigorous range of specific tests for high product performance including: Environmental Testing: IEC 60068-2-52 (cyclic salt mist) and IEC 60068-2-5 (solar radiation and weathering). It has also been fully factory tested for sand resistance to evaluate mechanical functionality, such as door opening, in very dusty and sandy applications.
All MISTRAL65 consumer units are compliant with IEC62208 and EN61439-3 international Standards and are available for maximum currents up to 63A in 4, 8and 12 modules sizes and up to 125A in 18, 24, 36, 48, 54 and 72 modules sizes.
