- Eight winners announced with Germany’s PLT Networks GmbH taking the top award for ‘Pinnacle Performer’
- Conference held for first time in its current regional format series to better serve channel partner communities
- Sustainability keynote from ABB Process Industries Division President, tour of Turgi factory in Switzerland highlights
Eight channel partners have been named as award winners at the ABB Process Automation Europe Partner Conference 2022, an event dedicated to the discussion of growth opportunities, industry challenges, sustainability, digitalization and collaboration.
The in-person conference, held from October 5-6 in Baden, Switzerland, served as a platform to introduce the latest updates from ABB Energy Industries and ABB Process Industries to their European channel partner community under the theme ‘Success with Synergy’. Since earlier this year, ABB has changed the format from a single global annual event to several regional versions to better serve the needs of partners.
Across the award categories the winners impressed ABB in various ways, including by contributing to major projects, delivering high order volumes, showing resilience during the pandemic and breaking into new industries. Germany’s PLT Networks GmbH was presented with the top award for ‘Pinnacle Performer’, for consistently delivering high order volume and working across multiple industries. Around 200 delegates attended the conference at the Trafo Baden, building on their long-standing or emerging relationships with ABB contacts.

We recently rebuilt our indirect sales model in both Energy Industries and Process Industries with a renewed focus on partner enablement and joint market planning. We look forward to this approach building momentum in future interactions and engagements.”
Presentations at the conference covered business strategy and planning, growth opportunities in multiple industries, portfolio updates and how digital impacts the industrial space. A keynote on the agenda was delivered by ABB Process Industries Division President Joachim Braun, who spoke about the importance and value of sustainability.
