ABB launches Terra 360, the world's fastest electric vehicle charger, capable of charging a battery for a 100-kilometre journey in less than three minutes. ABB's innovative all-in-one charger is the only one on the market specifically designed to charge up to four vehicles at once. The charger is the ideal choice for petrol stations, urban charging stations, retail car parks as well as car parks.
ABB's new Terra 360 is a modular charger that can charge up to four vehicles simultaneously thanks to its dynamic power distribution. This means that the driver does not have to wait for someone else in front to finish charging. Instead, they can simply plug their vehicle into another socket. The new charger has a maximum capacity of 360 kW and can fully charge the battery of any electric car on the market today in 15 minutes or less.

"Terra 360 is key to meeting this demand and accelerating the development of e-mobility worldwide."

"With road transport accounting for nearly a fifth of global CO2 emissions, e-mobility is critical to achieving climate targets. We also want to lead for example by replacing ABB's entire fleet of more than 10,000 vehicles with electric vehicles."
Terra 360 is designed with the everyday needs and expectations of electric vehicle owners in mind, and is quick and convenient to use. The charger's innovative digital signalling system guides the user during the charging process, while also indicating the vehicle's battery charge status and remaining time until the end of the optimal charging session. The world's fastest electric vehicle charger features an ergonomic cable management system that helps the driver to connect the vehicle to the charger quickly and with minimum effort. Terra 360 chargers are fully customisable to customer needs. To personalise the look, the chargers can be branded, choose different colours of LED light strips or display videos, pictures and advertisements on the integrated 27-inch screen.
The new Terra 360 charger will be available in Europe from the end of 2021 and in the US, Latin America and Asia Pacific from 2022.
