ABB Beijing Switchgear’s 30th anniversary celebration welcomed over 350 distinguished guests, including key customers such as State Grid Corporation of China, China Electrical Equipment, Sungrow, Goldwind, Zijin Longjing, and CATL, as well as partners such as HangZhou Electric Equipment Manufacturing, Jialong Electric, and Zhejiang Wuxing Power Manufacturing.

During the event, ABB announced the local market availability of two products: the 24 kV Safe Air gas-insulated ring main unit and compact switchgear, and the 12 kV SafeRing Air load switch. Both extend ABB’s portfolio of SF6-free technologies and align with China’s new-power-system goals and global green development standards.

China has become a global leader in electrification and climate action, establishing the world’s largest clean power generation system. Rapid growth in renewable energy, urbanization, and data-driven industries is reshaping demand for high-performance power distribution equipment.
