The Procontrol P13 platform offers a wide range of engineering, documentation and service tools. The most current tools available are Progress 3, and EDS-P3.
Progress 3 is the universal programming, documentation, and service tool for any plant that operates with Procontrol P13. It is specifically designed to enable the upgrade or replacement of older generation Procontrol engineering tools like Progress 2, WINTOOL, and SK06. Features like code transfer from existing EPROMs and graphical documentation of the codes makes the tool ideal for Procontrol P13 processor upgrades.
EDS-P3 is a programming, documentation and service tool used during the commissioning and subsequent maintenance of large and distributed Procontrol P13 control systems. The current Linux-based version has been developed as a replacement for the well-established Unix-based version, and includes all of the outstanding features of the EDS-P3 Unix versions, such as hardware and software programming, online modification, tuning, debugging, and code backup.
