OPT800 Recovery

Are you looking for support or purchase information?

OPT 800 Recovery is an advanced process control (APC) system for the control and monitoring of the recovery boiler. The system is based on the multivariable model predictive control technology and can be applied to recovery boilers from different vendors. OPT800 Recovery optimally manipulates the black liquor feed to the recovery boiler to maintain stable power. It responds to boiler load changes by manipulating the primary and secondary air flows while the tertiary air flow is manipulated in response to CO and O2 measurements. This results in improved efficiency and reduced emissions.

The OPT800 Recovery system has been implemented at pulp mill sites worldwide. It is a state-of-the-art APC application including installation, start-up, tuning and training.
