Accelerate America 250+ Tour

From coast to coast, ABB is driving the technologies that will accelerate America’s next 250 years

When the ABB NASCAR EV Prototype took center stage at DTECH 2026—the leading annual event for transmission and distribution—it sparked conversations about the future of the electric grid. The San Diego event marked the launch of ABB’s nationwide Accelerate America 250+ Tour, a coast-to-coast journey highlighting current and future innovations in electrification and automation technologies that will accelerate America for the next 250 years.

Celebrating America’s Semiquincentennial in 2026

In 2026, the United States commemorates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The year-long celebrations honor imagination, showcase American stories, inspire community service and recognize the resilience and strength that define our nation.

As a leader in electrification and automation, ABB is bringing that spirit of innovation to life with the Accelerate America 250+ Tour, featuring the ABB NASCAR EV Prototype, a powerful symbol of American ingenuity.

ABB is a founding member of NASCAR IMPACT and NASCAR’s official electrification partner. We’re working together to help NASCAR operate leaner and cleaner while exploring strategic opportunities for electrification in the sport.

While the Accelerate America 250+ Tour travels nationwide, ABB is doing more than showcasing technology. It is leading conversations about how electrification and automation will drive progress in mission-critical industries in the years ahead.

ABB is not only reflecting on America’s past 250 years – it is driving what comes next.
