The MNS® MCC AR arc-resistant low voltage motor control centre for ANSI/NEMA/UL applications is the result of over 30 years of ABB experience with the design, manufacturing, and application of low voltage motor control solutions.

This innovative motor control centre incorporates the best proven features of a world-renowned IEC product along with all UL 845 requirements into a unique, comprehensive NEMA/UL product offering. With state-of-the-art withdrawable unit technology based on a proven global design, the MNS® MCC AR provides a higher level of safety while minimizing factory downtime.

The system offers plug-in, withdrawable, and full height unit technology for maximum configuration flexibility, with up to 4000 A horizontal bus and 1600 A vertical bus capacity. Arc-resistant per ANSI C37.20.7 with short circuit ratings up to 65 kA at 600 V, the MNS® MCC AR raises the bar in arc flash protection for low voltage motor control centres.

The insulating and isolating properties of the Multifunction Wall and "closed door" unit withdrawal provide a barrier between the operator and all live parts, affording operators the highest degree of safety and efficiency while performing both normal and maintenance operations.
