The partner Technical Experts Council (TEC) is organized exclusively for experienced technical experts, senior engineers and automation managers of our trusted channel partners.

This training event consists of highly technical sessions to gain in-depth knowledge about ABB Control Technologies products, primarily the System 800xA platform, and the technologies behind. A strong line-up of hand-picked senior presenters bring decades of experience both from product development and real-life project deliveries.

These sessions are meant to facilitate an advanced level of technical information exchange and thus to benefit from the agenda, participants should have considerable experience using System 800xA.

Message from your host, Gero Lustig

After the conclusion of last year’s TEC, one thing was clear. We had to organize a repeat for 2015.

Because feedback was a key component of TEC, we gained tremendous insight into our partners’ technical challenges and how they apply our technology into their work. In each session, while the subject matter experts dive deep into the technical topics, questions were not only limited to the end of the session, at each step of the way, partners raised questions and provided the presenters with real life case studies of ABB control systems being deployed in the field.

Last year, TEC was a by-invitation only event. Now we’re opening up for all channel partners of ABB Control Technologies. We still need you to be a techie – senior engineers and automation managers who have considerable experience using ABB control systems. We want your feedback and we want to delve into what you love most about ABB control systems – the technology.

Costs

The training event is free of charge for channel partners of ABB Control Technologies. ABB will provide food and beverage during the following times:

  • Oct 26 - Evening welcome reception
  • Oct 27 - Lunch
  • Oct 28 - Lunch and dinner
  • Oct 29 - Lunch

ABB will NOT cover the costs of these:

  • Hotel rooms
  • Flights
  • Airport transfers
  • Food and beverage outside of event duration

Most travelers will arrive by plane to Frankfurt airport. It is recommended that you then take a taxi to Ladenburg, which will take approximately one hour.
