Life Cycle Management – Update

ABB Low Voltage Breakers and Switches products are classified under different product phases. These are outlined below, for your ease of knowledge

Summary of main changes in this release

Air Circuit Breakers

  • SACE Emax X1 will change to classic phase from Jan.2016
  • SACE Emax Old (PR112 trip unit) will change to Obsolete from Jan.2016 (*)
  • SACE Megamax will change to Obsolete from Jan.2017 (*)
  • SACE Novomax MM will change to Obsolete from Jan.2018 (*)

Moulded Case Circuit Breakers
  • SACE Tmax T1-2-3 IEC will change to Limited from Jan.2016
  • SACE Isomax S1-2 IEC will change to Obsolete from Jan.2016 (*)
  • SACE Isomax S3…S6 IEC upto 690V change to Limited from Jan.2016 (*)
  • SACE Isomax S7 IEC up to 690V will change to Limited in 2016
  • SACE Isomax S7 UL last buy opportunity up to 31 Dec.2015
  • SACE Modul SH630/M guaranteed availability of spares up to 31 Oct.2015
  • SACE Limitor LN100-1000 guaranteed availability of spares up to 31 Dec.2015
  • SACE Isol/Fusol MM will change to Obsolete from Jan. 2017 (*)

Switches and Fusegear
  • Fuse links OFAA_H and OFAM_AM are in Limited phase to the end of 2015 and available from PG Switches.
  • Switch fuses OESA 200-800 will be managed from 3107 Service FIABB from the beginning of 2016.
  • The production of switch disconnectors OT160E, change over switches OSTL 400, 1200 and silver colored selector handles ends and the LCM status will be changed to obsolete phase in 2016.

Product phases classification could be different in the various countries.
