When an SPD comes to the end of its life in short circuit condition the standard requires a back-up protection to open the circuit. The rated current of this back-up protection has been increased, thanks to internal performances of up to 315A gG fuses, which reduces the risk of unwanted trips and guarantees the continuity of the power supply on site.

Perfect product performance even in extreme conditions as well as guaranteed quick disconnection in case of neutral conductor interruption and short-circuit conditions in case of failure, certified according to the standards:

With the increasing amount of data in the world, the need to ensure continuous operation and safeguard business data has never been greater. As electrical equipment becomes more and more complex, which results in a low current withstand, the combination of SPD Type 1 and Type 2 in one device provides a high current withstand (T1) while reducing the voltage (T2) coming into the electrical circuit, to protect and extend life of sensitive assets.

At least 35% of transients are generated from external sources such as lightning strikes or power company grid switching whereas the other 65% have internal origin like the machinery switching in industria applications. Transient surges can cause catastrophic equipment failure, immediate operation shutdown and long term disruption of business.
