Part of the ABB Service business strategy is the ability to supply quickly and efficiently spare parts for current and legacy products from all over the world.
Availability of original spare parts is essential for fast and efficient maintenance activities.
This becomes even more critical when the product has been produced some years before and has components in it, which are no longer into production.
Some spares are marked “A” as their substitution is not easy for customers. ABB offers special Mark A spare parts mounted by only high qualified field Service engineers (L3 training).
Specific high quality consumables have been selected by ABB to make the best maintenance activity.
An extra period of warranty for some ABB low-voltage products is now available. The Extended Warranty offers a guarantee for specific ABB active low-voltage products, covering equipment failure for up to five years. It is possible to extend the warranty directly on new products during the purchase phase and for already delivered products, which are within the standard warranty period.
