Fraser gained a Mechanical Engineering Honours Degree in his native Scotland and finished his studies in a French engineering school. He presently lives in the east of France on the borders of Germany and Switzerland.

A Chartered Engineer, Fraser has worked with cryogenic liquids & gases in ship fueling since the late 1990’s and has travelled extensively in Europe, Asia, Middle East and Australia.

As Director of Marine activities for Chart Industries for Hydrogen and LNG, he is highly motivated by cleaner fuels for shipping as well in bringing assistance to customers and crew to understand the benefits and safe working methods of using liquified gas as a fuel.

As well as supporting systems design, integration and related activities together with clients and partners.

Tomas Tronstad holds a Master of Science in Marine Machinery, and master’s degree in Energy Management. He has close to 30 years of experience in the maritime industry; ship classification including ship machinery and systems, maritime R&D including fuel cells for maritime use and consultancy within technology qualification and environmental technologies. From 2017, Tronstad holds the position as Managing Director for the joint venture company HYON; a hydrogen integrator company. HYON supply renewable hydrogen production, storage, distribution, dispensing and electricity generation via fuel cells.
