State-of-the-art newbuild FSRU

The BW Singapore is a state-of-the-art newbuild from 2015. The vessel has low environmental footprint and is a high efficiency FSRU.


The vessel has proven technology and is equipped with ABB power and distribution system in addition to electric propulsion. 

BW Singapore has a capacity storage in excess of 170,000 cbm and a peak regasification capacity of 750 mmscfd.

BW was awarded a 5-year contract to provide LNG regasification and storage services to the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (“EGAS”) in 2015. This project of national importance was achieved on a fast-track schedule – 5 months from project inception to first gas – which was a record short time for implementation.
