Gas-insulated Switchgear for Primary Distribution

Based on SF6, ZX2’s modular structure distributes medium voltage electric power safely and reliably in a variety of demanding utility and industry applications. It complies with IEC, GB/DL, GOST standards, CSA, IEEE standards with UL certification available on request.

Modular Primary Switchgear for all applications

A compact and modular medium voltage switchgear with high technical parameters and ratings built as a three-phase encapsulated and arc-resistant design for single and double busbar applications. ZX2 is equipped with separate gas-filled busbar and circuit breaker compartments. 

  • Rated voltage up to 36 (42) kV
  • Rated normal current up to 3150 A (with the use of parallel bus systems up to 5000 A)
  • Rated short-time withstand current up to 40 kA

Reliable and flexible
  • Very low maintenance needed as all high voltage parts are permanently protected in a gas tank from soiling, humidity, entry of foreign bodies and other environmental influences.
  • All panels are routine tested and gas-filled pressure in the factory – eliminating gas-work onsite – and enabling faster installation.

  • High level of operator safety with front and lateral arc protection, certified AFL 40 kA 1 s (according to IEC 62271-200).

  • Wide range of monitoring and diagnostic features for safe and reliable operations available. All switching devices are motor-operated and can be controlled remotely.
