ABB Ability™ Condition Monitoring for HV motors and generators is part of the ABB Ability™ Digital Powertrain. It enables users to remotely monitor the health of their motors and generators and the driven equipment, detect early signs of potential problems and plan maintenance activities to avoid unplanned downtime.
Customers can log onto the server at any time and access real-time data on a range of powertrain operating and health parameters. If a parameter exceeds its preset alarm level, the system sends an e-mail notification and maintenance recommendation to the customer. Customers can also receive detailed reports with recommendations for corrective action and preventive maintenance.
