ABB Australia Launches 2026 Reflect Reconciliation Action

ABB Australia is proud to launch its 2026 Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) – a renewed commitment to reconciliation and to doing what’s right for the communities it serves. Guided by the company’s values of Courage, Care, Curiosity, and Collaboration, the plan focuses on three key pillars: building meaningful relationships, embedding cultural respect into everyday operations, and creating opportunities for inclusion, employment, and shared success.

“We’ve been on this journey for some time, and this launch marks a significant step forward. It’s our commitment to turn intentions into meaningful, measurable actions” said Julian Bechini, Country Holding Officer for ABB Australia, about the milestone.

ABB’s reconciliation journey began in 2013 with the launch of its first Innovate RAP, followed by a second iteration in 2017. These early efforts laid the groundwork for meaningful engagement with First Nations peoples. Since then, ABB has undergone a global transformation, evolving into four customer-focused business areas – a change that underscored the need to refresh its approach to reconciliation. The 2026 Reflect RAP reflects this next chapter, aligning the company’s commitments with its evolved structure and a deeper focus on impact.

Across the business, there’s a clear understanding that clients, partners, and communities expect more than words – they expect action. The new RAP reinforces accountability, embedding reconciliation into strategy, planning, and resource allocation. It’s not an add-on, but a core part of how ABB Australia operates and delivers value.

While proud of the progress made, the company acknowledges that reconciliation is a continuous journey. The launch of the 2026 Reflect RAP is another important step – one that reflects a commitment to listening, learning, and leading with integrity.
