ABB demonstrates the future of e-mobility at the Great Exhibition Road Festival

Organized by Imperial College, the Great Exhibition Road Festival runs from 28th - 30th June and is intended to capture the spirit of the original Great Exhibition in 1851

Visitors to the festival will be entertained with talks, tours, activities and exhibits all designed to expand minds and encourage exploration of the extraordinary.

ABB will be there on Stand 23 (on Imperial College Road, outside the Sir Alexander Fleming building) to showcase the future of e-mobility with the help of a Gen 2 Formula E race car, a T54 high power EV charger and two Formula E race simulators. Other interactive displays will demonstrate how to realize the benefits that e-mobility can deliver now and in the future, in cars, in buses and on the sea.

There is also an augmented reality Smart City app showcasing how digital technologies can enhance the way we live. YuMi will also be on hand to demonstrate its dexterity and flexibility by taking visitor selfies.

Unless you're booked in already, you're probably too late to join a guided tour of the Pilot Carbon Capture plant and the new Digital Energy Demonstrator at Imperial College itself, both incorporating innovative technology from ABB.
