ABB launches low-voltage products that deliver safety, reliability and quality with complete flexibility

ABB’s Technology Talk 2020 highlights new low-voltage products that provide the next level of safety and quality for optimized energy management solutions.

At ABB, we push the boundaries of technology to drive performance to new levels. We are proud to introduce the new SACE Tmax XT series of Moulded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs), RCBO slim that can protect people against electrical current faults in the building and M4M energy analyzer, the cloud-enabled network analyzer. These product lines are designed to maximize ease of use, integration and connectivity while reliably delivering safety and quality.

The products were launched virtually and attracted participants from customers, distributors, panel makers, retailers and many more. The session also included a product introduction and an interactive session with the audience, in addition to launching a special promotional program for ABB’s official shop on Shopee and Tokopedia marketplace.

Tmax XT circuit breakers

ABB has extended its range of molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs) with the new SACE Tmax XT that offers higher performance, protection, metering and connectivity features up to 1600 A. The devices are designed to work far beyond the normal constraints, maximizing the capacity of installations, regardless of the operating voltage and environmental conditions.

Rather than just offering standalone protection, ABB's new Tmax XT are seen as key elements of the system that give you complete flexibility, extreme breaking capabilities and reliable performance under pressure

SACE Tmax XT sets new standards for plant and energy management. The XT family’s built-in connectivity links smartphones, tablets and PCs to data analysis tools on the ABB AbilityTM cloud platform in real time. The extreme precision of the data measured means users have access to accurate information anywhere and anytime, making it easier to monitor resources and identify saving opportunities. Using the embedded smart power controller can help reduce energy consumption up to 20 percent.

M4M network analyzer

In order to run sustainable buildings, there are three key indicators that building owner or contractors need to look into: improved energy efficiency, reduced energy costs and increased power quality. ABB’s M4M network analyzer will help them achieve these by allowing real-time and accurate energy data monitoring that will enable them to improve performance while reducing impact on the environment.

The new M4M range of network analyzers ensures complete power quality analysis and highly accurate energy efficiency monitoring of electrical parameters and advanced power quality KPIs. Moreover, energy data gathered by the M4M can leverage on the integration into a common architec-ture that, together with other smart components, promote the ability to leverage digital building solu-tions and ‘Internet of Things’ devices.

RCBO slim DSN201

RCBOs are commonly used in applications where there is the need to combine protection against over-current (overload and short-circuit) and protection against earth leakage currents. RCBOs help sense these kind of faults and trip the circuit, ensuring complete protection of people and connected equip-ment. ABB’s RCBO DSN201 (known as RCBO slim for its compact design) gives users a new dimension, particularly in the ease of installation and identification of the product.

ABB’s RCBO slim comes with the benefit of fast, flexible and safe installation. It also gives users a benefit to easily identify the originality, type and status of the product. Slimmer in size and with a good composition with ABB’s MCB, it manages to maintain good asthetics on the MCB box.

“We are pleased to introduce our latest low voltage solutions in Indonesia. Our new products lines are cloud-enabled and have been designed for ultra-high performance providing our customers and part-ners innovative solutions to enable safe, smart and sustainable electrification,” said Jorge Aguinaga, Head of Electrification business area in Indonesia.

ABB Official Shop

With the number of online Indonesian shoppers anticipated to increase to 65 million by 2022, ABB is launching online stores for low-voltage products on Shopee Indonesia and Tokopedia, the country’s leading e-commerce platforms.

The online store will allow consumers to make online purchases, find information on ABB low-voltage products such as wiring accessories, switches, sockets, miniature circuit breakers, and many more, and receive suggestions regarding household electrical products.
