The C150 universal process indicator was launched in 1994. It enabled indication of a single process variable and its associated totalizer value on a high visibility, 6-digit LED display. It also featured a 4 to 20 mA retransmission and alarm relay output as standard with the option to add further relay outputs and RS485 communications to suit various applications.
In September 2010, the C150 was superseded by the ControlMaster CM15 universal process indicator. The CM15 uses ABB’s common instrumentation platform HMI and features a new, full color TFT display enabling both the PV and associated totalizer to be displayed on screen simultaneously. The ControlMaster CM15 also includes a frequency input for direct, high accuracy connection to electromagnetic flow meters.
