The Commander SR100A 100 mm advanced strip-chart process recorder was launched in December 1999. It enabled recording of up to 6 inputs with the option to fit additional inputs, output relays, digital I/O and analog outputs. An inbuilt text printing functionality was standard and optional advanced functions (for example, math, logic, totalizer, RS485 communications and PCMCIA memory card logging) were available.
In January 2015, the SR100A became obsolete. Its ideal replacement is the ScreenMaster RVG200 paperless recorder. The RVG200 features up to 24 inputs, a 21 CFR part 11 compliant data recording system and clear text display. If fewer recording channels are needed, an alternative choice is the ScreenMaster SM500F. This field-mount paperless recorder has the same functionality as the SR100A and the RVG200 but is available with less I/O capability for smaller applications.
