尤为注重带材表面质量的应用通常采用无缝辊。该辊具有完全无接缝的表面，上面没有任何能给带材留下印记的东西。其表面由碳化钨制成，硬度达到69HRC，因此非常耐磨，防止材料划伤及剥落。辊身完全密封，灰尘或液体都不能进入辊体。这使该辊非常可靠。该辊使用26或52mm宽的传感器测量板形。
