APROL

The training courses are organised into different levels and roles. Select the role(s) that fit(s) your job best. The level then describes what you should be able to do after completing the level.

Basic_Blau
Basic

You are able to
- Understand system architecture
- Perform system configuration
- Perform hardware configuration for controllers and remote I/O
- Apply the CFC programming language in projects
- Create process screens
- Manage users
- Set up cross-device communication
- Perform library configuration
- Create user-specific library functions

In order to complete the basic level, you have to attend SEM841 and SEM842.
Advanced_Blau
Advanced
You are able to
- Perform system hardening
- Configure and optimize the historical database
- Configure OPC UA servers and clients
- Customize and optimize the configuration of the APROL Directory Server
In order to achieve the advanced level you should have completed the previous level and you should attend four of the following courses: SEM843, SEM844, SEM845, SEM846, SEM847 
Basic_Blau
Basic

You are able to
- Operate APROL in the APROL Display Center
- Use the PAL function control panels
- Use the alarm system and draw conclusions about the process status
- Interpret APROL system monitoring
- Interpret APROL reports (alarm, audit trail, system log)
- Use the APROL Trend Viewer to analyze historical data

In order to complete the basic level, you have to attend SEM851.
Advanced_Blau
Advanced
You are able to
- Use the configuration level of the PAL faceplates
- Use the APROL shift log
- Use operator management
- Use SFC sequence blocks
- Use the system's force functions
In order to achieve the advanced level you should have completed the previous level and you should attend SEM852.
Basic_Blau

You are able to
- Analyze system messages and draw conclusions about the system status
- Interpret APROL reports (alarm, audit trail, system log)
- Safely replace APROL hardware (PC, controller, I/O)

In order to complete the basic level, you have to attend SEM861.
Advanced_Blau

You are able to
- Use the system's Force functions
- Debug CFCs and SFCs
In order to achieve the advanced level you should have completed the previous level and you should attend SEM862.
