The training courses are organised into different levels and roles. Select the role(s) that fit(s) your job best. The level then describes what you should be able to do after completing the level.

Basic

view learning path

 You understand the
    - Freelance System Structure
    - Connection between the HSI and the Freelance Controller

  You are able to create or modify:
    - Function Block Diagrams in different languages such as FBD, SFC
    - Controller hardware including IO signals
    - Graphic Displays
    - Trend Displays and History Configuration
    - Simple Reports

In order to complete the basic level, you have to attend the T560 and T564 course.
Advanced

view learning path

  You have more knowledge of at least two of the following System Extensions:
    - Administration of Users and Security in Active Directory
    - Configuration of Graphic Displays, Faceplates
    - New Functions of the latest version
    - Integration and Configuration of PROFIBUS and HART devices
In order to complete the advance level, you have to attend two of the following courses: DE430, DE432, T562, T565
Master

   You have detailed knowledge of at least two of the following topics:
    - Tips and Tricks of an Freelance System
In order to complete the master level, you have to attend the following course: DE640
Basic

view learning path

   You are able to:
   - Navigate in Freelance Operation
   - Read and interpret information from different process displays
   - Monitor and control standard process objects such as motors, valves and PID loops using faceplates
   - Interpret information on interlocks
   - Handle alarm and event lists
   - Acknowledge alarms
   - Operate trend displays and interpret the information
   - Monitor and control sequences based on Sequence Function Charts
   - View and print reports
   - Log in as different users
   - Use some basic system monitoring tools
In order to complete the basic level, you have to attend the T561 course.
Advanced

view learning path

   You are able to:
    - Use advanced operator functions
    - Use advanced diagnostic tools
    - Troubleshoot the Freelance hardware
    - Carry out Signal Tracing from faceplate to the IO channel
In order to complete the advance level, you have to attend T566 course
Basic

view learning path

  You are able to:
    - Describe the Freelance System Structure
    - Handle Alarms
    - Troubleshoot and Exchange  Freelance hardware
    - Signal tracing from Faceplate to IO Channel
    - Change basic configuration of Alarm List, Grafic Displays and Trend Display
    - Backup a System (Full and Partial)
In order to complete the basic level, you have to attend T560 and T566 course.
Advanced

view learning path

  You have more knowledge of at least two of the following System Extensions:
    - Integration and Configuration of PROFIBUS and HART devices
    - New Functions of the latest version
In order to complete the advance level, you have to attend two of the following courses: T562, T564, T565.
Master

view learning path

  You have detailed knowledge of at least two of the following topics:
    -  Administration of Users and Security in Active Directory
In order to complete the master level, you have to attend the DE430 course.
