800xA with AC 800M

The training courses are organised into different levels and roles. Select the role(s) that fit(s) your job best. The level then describes what you should be able to do after completing the level.

Course Overview

 You understand the
    - 800xA System Structure
    - Aspect Object concept
    - Connection between the HSI and the AC 800M Controller

  You are able to create or modify:
    - Function Block Diagrams in different languages such as FBD, SFC
    - Controller hardware including IO signals
    - Graphic Displays
    - Trend Displays and History Configuration
    - Alarm Lists and Alarm List Templates
    - Simple Reports
    - Basic security settings
    - Backup an 800xA System (Full and Partial)

In order to complete the basic level, you have to attend T315H and T315F or T315C.
  You have more knowledge of at least two of the following System Extensions:
    - Administration of Users and Security in Active Directory
    - Configuration of Graphic Displays, Faceplates and Workplace Layout
    - New Functions of the latest version
    - Configuration of extended Alarm functions including Alarm Management
    - Operation and Configuration of Batches
    - Configuration of High Integrity Controllers
    - Integration and Configuration of PROFIBUS and HART devices
In order to achieve the advanced level you should have completed the previous level and you should attend two of the following courses: DE430, DE432, DE442, DE449, T307, T309
   You have detailed knowledge of at least two of the following topics:
     - Virtualize, administrate and configure an 800xA System with VMware ESXi
     - Tips and Tricks of an 800xA System
     - Create and Package Field Device Object Types
     - Checking and Troubleshooting PROFIBUS networks
     - Troubleshooting 800xA Core System
     - Cyber Security for System 800xA
     - Plan and install an 800xA System
In order to achieve the master level you should have completed the previous level and you should attend two of the following courses: DE451, E111, E143, E144, E163, T305
   You are able to:
     - Navigate in a standard Operator Workplace
     - Read and interpret information from different process displays
     - Create operator notes
     - Monitor and control standard process objects such as motors, valves and PID loops using faceplates
     - Interpret information on interlocks
     - Handle alarm and event lists
     - Acknowledge alarms
     - Operate trend displays and interpret the information
     - Monitor and control sequences based on Sequence Function Charts
     - View and print reports
     - Log in as different users
     - Use some basic system monitoring tools
In order to complete the basic level, you have to attend the T310 course.
   You are able to:
     - Use advanced operator functions
     - Use advanced diagnostic tools
     - Troubleshoot the AC 800M hardware
     - Carry out Signal Tracing from faceplate to the IO channel
In order to achieve the advanced level you should have completed the previous level and you should attend the following courses: T308
  You are able to:
    - Describe the 800xA System Structure
    - Describe the Aspect Object concept
    - Configure the Connection between HSI and the AC 800M Controller
    - Handle Alarms
    - Troubleshoot and Exchange AC 800M hardware
    - Signal tracing from Faceplate to IO Channel
    - Change basic configuration of Alarm List, Grafic Displays and Trend Display
    - Backup a System (Full and Partial)
In order to complete the basic level, you have to attend T308 and T315H course.
  You have more knowledge of at least two of the following System Extensions:
    - Administration of Users and Security in Active Directory
    - Configuration of High Integrity Controllers
    - Integration and Configuration of PROFIBUS and HART devices
n order to achieve the advanced level you should have completed the previous level and you should attend two of the following courses: DE430, T309
  You have detailed knowledge of at least two of the following topics:
    - Virtualize, administrate and configure a 800xA System with VMware ESXi
    - Tips and Tricks of the 800xA System
    - Checking and Troubleshooting PROFIBUS networks
    - Troubleshooting 800xA Core System
    - Plan and install a 800xA System
In order to complete the master level, you have to attend two of the following courses: DE451, E111, E143, T305
